IND: IMP:, rev. struck en médaille, St. George slaying dragon with sword, WWP under lance, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue (Bentley 364; Marsh 220; S.4003).Toned, graded by NGC as MS65+.

NGC Certification 4675288-004

Calendar Year Mintage 3,520,431 plus 886,000 struck in the reign of George VI.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "George the Fifth by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
