PF68 UCAM | Elizabeth II (1952 -), gold proof Five Pounds, 1997, struck to celebrate the Golden Wedding of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, obverse design by Philip Nathan; conjoint portraits of The Queen and Prince Philip, Latin legend surrounding ELIZABETH. II. D. G. REG. F.D. PHILIP.PRINCEPS, rev. design by Leslie Durbin, a pair of shields – Royal Arms to the left, shield of Prince Philip to the right – royal crown above separating the dates “1947” and “1997” with “20 NOVEMBER”, anchor cabled with the denomination FIVE POUNDS below, 39.94g (S.L4). Brilliant and as struck, accompanied by original Royal Mint maroon case with certificate of authenticity, graded by NGC as PF68 Ultra Cameo.
