SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. Tetradrachm (silver, 16.43 g, 24 mm), Seleukeia on the Tigris II. Laureate head of Zeus right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Athena, holding spear and shield, driving quadriga of elephants right; anchor above. SC 130. Very fine.
