SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Alexander I Balas, 152-145 BC. Hemidrachm (silver, 1.91 g, 11 mm), Antioch on the Orontes. Radiate head to right. Rev. [ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ] ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Apollo standing to left, holding arrow and resting hand on shield set on ground; uncertain controls. HGC 9, 891. SC 1786. Very fine.
