PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. temp. Ptolemy IX – Ptolemy XI. Late 2nd-early 1st centuries BC. Ae (7.92 g, 26 mm), uncertain mint on Cyprus. Horned head of Zeus-Ammon right, wearing tainia. Rev. Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; aphlaston to left. Svoronos 1813; SNG Copenhagen 676. Good fine.
