Description
Persian Occupation of Syria, Phocas, with Leontia type. Follis (bronze, 12.10 g, 31 mm), crude imitation. Phocas standing facing, holding globus cruciger in his right hand and Leontia standing facing, holding cruciform scepter in her right hand; above, cross. Rev. Large m, blundered legend around. Nearly very fine.
