Description
Theodosius I, 379-395. Follis (bronze, 5.80 g, 22 mm), Antioch. Pearl-and-rosette-diademed, helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust right, holding spear and shield. Rev. Theodosius standing left in galley left, head right, raising hand; to right, Victory steering galley; wreath to left, cross above; ANTΓ in exergue. RIC IX 40e.3. Repatinated, very fine.
