SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Alexander I Balas, 152-145 BC. Ae (bronze, 6.69 g, 19 mm), Kyrrhos. Diademed head right. Rev. KYPPHΣTΩN Zeus standing facing, head left, holding wreath, at feet, owl standing to left, head facing ; monogram and ΔΞP (date) to left. SC 1809.1; HGC 9, 906. Very fine. Rare.
