Description
SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos II Kallinikos. 246-225 BC. Ae (bronze, 4.66 g, 18 mm), Sardes. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion’s skin Rev. Apollo seated left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting hand on bow; monograms to outer left and right. SC 657. Nearly very fine.
