Description

PALMYRENE. Palmyra. Pseudo-autonomous issue, circa 2nd-early 3rd centuries AD. Ae (bronze, 0.50 g, 9 mm). Draped bust of Athena or Roma to right, wearing crested helmet. Rev. Ram leaping left, head to right and raising forepaw; to upper right, crescent. Fine. Very rare.
