Description
CRUSADERS (?) Uncertain, circa 12th century AD. Follis (bronze, 2.00 g, 20 mm), imitating Byzantine folles. Another possibilty would be Seljuq, Antioch, struck under Yagisiyan, 1086-1098 (Cf. Leu Web Auction 15, lot 3116. Nimbate bust of Christ facing. Rev. Jewelled cross with wedges in angles. Repatinated, nearly very fine.
