SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Trebonianus Gallus, 251-253. Ae (bronze, 19.90 g, 30 mm). ΑΥΤΟΚ Κ Γ ΟΥΙΒ ΤΡЄΒ ΓΑΛΛΟϹ ϹЄΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. ΑΝΤΙΟΧƐΩΝ ΜΗΤΡΟ ΚΟΛΩΝ, Δ Ɛ to left and right, below S C; portable shrine with four columns enclosing statue of Tyche seated, facing, with river god (Orontes) facing, at her feet; above, ram running right. RPC IX 1816. Repatinated, fine.
