SYRIA, Seleukis and Pieria. Apameia. 1st century BC. Ae (bronze, 7.99 g, 23 mm). Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΑΠΑΜΕΩΝ / ΤΗΣ ΙΕΡΑΣ - ΚΑΙ AΣYΛOY Elephant walking right; to right, ZΛΣ. HGC 9, 1419. Repatinated, nearly very fine.
