Description
Arab-Byzantine. Umayyad Caliphate, circa 685-705 AD. Fals (bronze, 4.11 g, 19 mm), Baalbek (Heliopolis). Two imperial standing figures, each holding cruciform sceptre. Rev. Large M, above exergual line; cross above, crescent below, HΛI૪ downwards to left, ΠOΛE downwards to right, ba'labakk in Arabic in exergue. SICA I 584-6; Goodwin 23. Fine.
