PALMYRENE. Palmyra. Pseudo-autonomous issue, circa 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Ae (bronze, 1.94 g, 12 mm). Draped bust of Atargatis right; crecsent behind, star before. Rev. Radiate and draped bust of uncertain solar deity left. Kryzyzanowska type IV. Nearly very fine. Very rare.
