Description
Anonymous, time of Nicephorus III, 1078-1081. Follis (bronze, 1.57 g, 19 mm). Imitation of type minted at Constantinople, IC-XC, facing bust of Christ Pantokrator. Rev. Latin cross with central X, with pellets at the end of each extremity. Cf. DOC Class I; cf Roma e-sale 89, Lot 1554. Very fine.
