SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch, 1st century BC. Ae (bronze, 12.29 g, 23 mm). Laureate head of Zeus right. Rev. ANTIOΧΕΩN ΤΗΣ MHTΡOΠOΛΕΩΣ ΚΑΙ / ΑYTONOMOY Zeus seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and scepter in his left; above, thunderbolt; in exergue, (date); all within laurel wreath. HGC 9, 1367. Very fine.
