Justinian I, 527-565. Follis (bronze, 21.99 g, 42 mm), Nicomedia. Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus cruciger, shield on left shoulder; cross to right. Rev. Large M, cross above; A/N/N/O - X/II/I across field; B below, NIK in exergue. DOC 117b; MIBE 114; SB 201. Nearly very fine.
