MACEDON. Thessalonica. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Assarion (bronze, 5.68 g, 20 mm), time of Caracalla, 198-217. ΘECCAΛONЄIKH Turreted, veiled and draped bust of the city-goddess to right. Rev. ΘEC/CAΛO/NIKЄ/ΩN within wreath. SNG ANS 816-817. Nearly very fine.
