Umayyad Caliphate. temp. Mu'awiya I ibn Abi Sufyan. AH 41-60 / AD 661-680. Half Fals (bronze, 3.68 g, 21 mm). Justin II and Sophia, Baysan (Scythopolis) mint. Two imperial figures enthroned facing, each holding scepter. Rev. Large K; X above, crescent below, bysn in Arabic to left; – to right. DOCAB 85; Album 3510. Nearly very fine. Rare.
