Phocas, 602-610. Follis (bronze, 10.13 g, 28 mm), Nicomedia. δ N FOCAS PER AVς (or similar) Crowned bust of Phocas facing, wearing consular robes, holding mappa in his right hand and eagle-tipped scepter in his left. Rev. Large XXXX; above ANNO, NIKOA in exergue. DOC 58a; SB 658. Nearly very fine.
