KINGS of SOPHENE. Mithradates I, 150-100 BC. Chalkous (bronze, 1.65 g, 12 mm), Armenian mint. Diademed head of Mithradates I to left, wearing bashlyk. Nike advancing to left, crowning king's name. Kovacs -; Cf. Savoca Silver 108th, Lot 223; cf. Nomos, Obolos 25, Lot 365. Nearly very fine. Rare.
