Description
BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Eukratides I, circa 170-145 BC. Obol (silver, 0.67 g, 10 mm). Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides I to right, wearing crested Macedonian helmet adorned with bull’s horn and ear. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - EΥKΡATIΔOY Caps of the Dioskouroi, each with palm frond; monogram below. Bop-9C. Good very fine.
