KINGS of PARTHIA. Osroes I, circa 109-129. Tetrachalkon (bronze, 5.65 g, 18 mm). Seleukeia on the Tigris, dated 439 SE (127/8). Diademed bust left, wearing tiara decorated with "hooks"; long pointed beard, hair in bunch behind ear. Rev. Three-quarter figure of Tyche right holding palm branch tied with fillet, and scepter; ΘΛΥ (date) behind. Sellwood 80.18 (dichalkon); Sunrise –; Shore –. Nearly exremely fine. Rare. Very attractive example!
