★ Rare early Arab Byzantine issue ★
Ummayad Califate. cca. 640s. Ae fals (bronze, 4.99 g, 27 mm), Arab-Byzantine type. Three standing figures. Rev. Large M, ANNO to right, X/IIII (?) to right. Cross above, B below. THP in exergue. A-3501; MIB-X43. Nearly very fine. Rare. This type is regarded by Foss as the earliest Arab issue.
