SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Trajan Decius, 249-251. Tetradrachm (billon, 12.76 g, 25 mm). ΑΥΤ Κ Γ ΜЄ ΚΥ ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟC ΔЄΚΙΟC CЄΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius to right. Rev. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ЄΞΟΥCΙΑC / S C Eagle with spread wings standing left on palm frond, holding wreath in beak. McAlee 1128b. Good very fine with lovely dark patina.
