Justinian I, 527-565. Follis (bronze, 22.46 g, 40 mm). Cyzicus, dated RY 12 (AD 538/9). Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus cruciger and shield; cross to right. Rev. Large M, cross above; A/N/N/O XII (date) across field; A below, in exergue, KYZ. DOC 164a; SB 207. Very fine.
