Description
Justinian I, 527-565. Follis (bronze, 13.80 g, 28 mm), Constantinople. IVSTINIANVS (or similar – retrograde!) Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right. Rev. Large M, cross above; star to left and right, A below; CON in exergue. DOC 30a; SB 160. Crude, possibly contemporary issue with retrograde legend. Fine.
