Justin II and Sophia (565-578). 40 Nummi (bronze, 14.88 g, 30 mm). Constantinople, year 8 (572/3). Nimbate figures of Justin and Sophia seated facing on double throne, holding globus cruciger and cruciform sceptre, respectively. Rev. Large M; date across field, cross above; Δ below. CON in exergue. DOC 34d; SB 360. Good very fine.
