Anatolia & al-Jazira (Post-Seljuk). Saltuquids. Diya' al-Din Ghazi, circa AH 518-526 / AD 1124-1132. Fals (Bronze, 4.84 g, 28 mm). St. George, nimbate, on horseback to right, holding cross in his right hand; before him, dragon. Rev. Citing the Seljuq overlord Muhammad II ibn Mahmud by his laqab only: Mughith al-Din ('Helper of the Faith' in Arabic) within dotted circle. Album C1890, cf. Stephen Album Auction 40, lot 568.
