Description
Umayyad Caliphate, 660-680. Fals (bronze, 2.99 g, 20 mm). Damascus. Standing Imperial figure, holding long cross and globus cruciger; ΛEO downwards to right, bird above T to left. Rev. M with monogram above; inverted crescent below, ANO to left, XYII to right, ΔAM (mint) in exergue. SICA I 561-562; DOCAB 49-51. Very fine.
