Its owner, the Englishman Dr. Thomas W. Dyott, acted with patent medicines in Philadelphia. His portrait appears in the left vignette of the note. In the middle a scene in a glass factory, which also had been founded by Dyott. In this picture the glass worker at the bench is often said to resemble Elvis Presley. That's why collectors also call these notes " Elvis-Banknote ".
