ROMAN EMPIRE. Augustus, 27 BC-14. Denarius 30/29 BC, Italian mint, perhaps Rome. Minted in the time of Octavian's Actian campaign, before his proclamation to Augustus. Laureate head of Apollo of Actium to right. Rv. Octavian, as city founder, veiled and wearing priestly robes, plowing to right with yoke of oxen, IMP CAESAR in exergue. 3.83 g. Cohen 117. RIC 272.
