Interesting group of 6 gold coins of barbarian style. Imitations of Leo I, Anastasius I, Justinus I, Justinianus I. One coin ex Garrett 1985, Lot 529. , sold as Indian imitation. The Leo solidus is in a mounted frame for jewellery. The Anastasius may be a severely clipped original. According to the weights 4 should have passed as solidi and two as tremissi. Total gold weight 12.30 g. Fine-very fine.
