Attica. Athens circa 165-42 BC. Demetrios and Dionysios, magistrates, struck circa 141/140 AD.
Tetradrachm AR (New Style).

35 mm, 16,57 g

Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos springing right and a volute on the bowl / A-ΘE Owl standing facing on Amphora; to left, monogram of Demetrios; to right, eagle standing right on monogram of Dionysios; on amphora, Λ; below amphora, ΠP; all within laurel wreath.

Attractively toned, well centred, Good Very Fine.
