Danube Region, Lead Mysterious Rectangular Plaquette, c. 3rd-4th century AD (7.3x8.4cm). Decorativ motif, in the form of rectangular aedicola, divided in several registers: above dolphin between stars (septem triones). Three rows of figures: above figure between Sol invictus (helios) and Moon. At sides, candelabrum and lion. In the middle row, at centre female figure (Helen) facing between the Dioscuri on horseback (the Danubian horsemen), at sides, a soldier, a cock and a dove. In the lower row, an amphora, a tripod and a sacrifical scene. All around, four heads. Very nice preservation.
