Troas, Abydos AR Tetradrachm. Circa 80-70 BC. Iphiados, magistrate. Draped bust of Artemis to right, wearing stephanos, bow and quiver over shoulder / Eagle, with wings spread, standing to right; ABYΔHNΩN above, IΦIAΔOY below, radiate head of Helios to right with star above in right field; all within laurel wreath. Callataÿ, Abydos, D32/R- (unlisted rev. die); SNG Fitzwilliam 4250 (same obv. die). 15.61g, 31mm, 12h.

Near Extremely Fine; highly attractive old cabinet tone. Extremely Rare.
