L. Cornelius Lentulus and C. Claudius Marcellus AR Denarius. Military mint moving with Pompey, 49 BC. Facing head of Medusa in centre of triskeles with grain ear between each leg / Jupiter standing facing, head to right, holding thunderbolt and eagle; LENT MAR (partially ligate) upwards to left, COS upwards to right. Crawford 445/1b; CRI 4; BMCRR Sicily 1; Sydenham 1029; RSC Cornelia 64a. 3.74g, 18mm, 6h.

Near Mint State; lustrous metal.
