Description

Allectus Æ Radiate. 'C' mint, AD 293-296. IMP C ALLECTVS P AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right / PAX AVG, Pax standing to left, holding olive branch and sceptre; S-P across fields, C in exergue. RIC V.2 87; Burnett 154. 4.00g, 22mm, 7h.

Good Very Fine; struck on a broad planchet. Extremely Rare; no other examples auctioned in the preceding two decades.
