Anonymous AR Didrachm (Quadrigatus). Rome, 225-214 BC. Laureate head of Janus / Jupiter, holding sceptre and brandishing thunderbolt, in fast quadriga driven to right by Victory; ROMA in relief within raised tablet below. Crawford 29/3; Sydenham 64d; RBW 76; RSC 24. 6.74g, 22mm, 6h.

Extremely Fine; a splendid example with hints of golden iridescence around devices, struck from dies of magnificent style.
