Gand (Ghent) and Mechelen (Mechlin) mint, struck 1346-1384. LVDOVIC ◦ DЄI ⦂ GR ⦂ COᙏ' ⦂ DꞂS ⦂ FLΛꞂDR I Є, Lodewijk standing facing within Gothic canopy, ermines on cloak, holding sword and shield decorated with coat-of-arms, crested helmet to left; FLΛꞂDRES in exergue / ✠ BЄИЄDICTVS ⁑ QVI ⁑ VЄИIT ⁑ IИ ⁑ ИOᙏIИЄ ⁑ DOᙏIИI, cross fleurée and feuillue, lion rampant in central tondo, F L A D in quarters with eagle above each; all within quadrilobe; trefoils in spandrels.
