KAROLVS ˣ DI ˣ GR FRAꞂCORV ˣ RЄX, Charles standing facing within Gothic arch, holding sword with annulet pommel and Main de Justice; semé of seven lis to left and right / ✠ XP'C ∗ VIИCIT ∗ XP'C ∗ RЄGИAT ∗ XP'C ∗ IMPЄRAT, cross tréflée with pellet within angled quadrilobe at centre, lis in first and fourth quarters, crown in second and third; all within angled quadrilobe, lis in spandrels.
