Maximus (son of Maximinus I), as Caesar, Æ Sestertius. Rome, AD 236-238. MAXIMVS CAES GERM, bare-headed and draped bust right / PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS, Maximus standing left, holding baton and transverse spear, two standards behind him; S-C across fields. RIC 13; C. 14; BMCRE 213. 26.39g, 31mm, 12h.

Near Extremely Fine; well struck, with an impressive portrait.
