Description

Mysia, Kyzikos EL Myshemihekte - 1/24 Stater. Circa 450-430 BC. Nude figure of Apollo(?) kneeling or crouching right, holding bow out before him; [tunny fish in exergue] / Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. von Fritze I 149 (stater); cf. SNG France 298 (same); cf. Boston MFA 1519 (same). 0.68g, 8mm.

Extremely Fine. Apparently unique and unpublished in this denomination.
