Description

Thrace, Byzantion AR Drachm. Circa 340-320 BC. Bull standing to left atop dolphin; 'ΠΥ above; trace of legend ΔAX? in exergue / Quadripartite incuse square in the form of 'mill sail' device. Schönert-Geiss 235; HGC 3.2, 1389. 5.25g, 19mm.

Extremely Fine; attractive old cabinet tone.
