Calabria, Tarentum AR Nomos. Circa 355-350 BC. Nude youth on horseback to left, crowning horse that raises left foreleg; Φ below / Taras astride dolphin to left, holding patera in outstretched right hand and leaning backward on left arm; Φ above TAPAΣ below. Fischer-Bossert 628 (V244/R-, unlisted rev. die); Vlasto -. 7.46g, 22mm, 9h.

Good Very Fine; attractive old cabinet tone. Extremely Rare.
