Roman Empire, Probus, Antoninian Ticinum Very rare and desirable military bust type with spear and shield, but seen from the back, instead of front as usual. Magnificent portrait of the finest style; wide wreath ties of the corona radiata (scarcer variant than the usual variant with joined ties)  RIC V.2 desribes incorrectly the figure on the reverse as 'soldier' however one can see the bare breast which is the attribute of the amazons. The personnification of Virtvs was often depicted as an amazon in the Roman coinage.  OBVERSE: VIRTVS PROBI AVG

Bardzo rzadki typ popiersia militarnego z włócznią i tarczą, ale widziany od tyłu a nie przodu jak na zwykle. Wspaniały portret cesarza w najlepszym stylu. Szerokie wiązania wieńca corona radiata (rzadszy wariant niż wariant z złączonymi wiązaniami).  RIC V.2 błędnie określa postać na rewersie jako 'żołnierza', jednak postać ta ma gołą pierś, która jest atrybutem amazonek. Personifikacja Virtvs była zresztą często przedstawiana jako amazonka w mennictwie rzymskim.  Awers: Popiersie militarne cesarza, trzymającego włócznię i tarczę, w lewo, w otoku legenda:
