Mark Antony. Ar Denarius (40 BC). 18 mm. 3.2 gm. Military mint traveling with Antony and Plancus in central Greece. Obv: M ANTON IMP AVG III VIR R P C. Lituus and capis. Rev: L PLANCVS IMP ITER. Sacrifical jug (loutrophorus?); winged thunderbolt to left and winged caduceus to right. Crawford 522/4; CRI 255. Very rare.
