ARAB-SASANIAN, Farroxzaad, "Apushtan" series. Æ (0.75 gm; 25 mm). Obverse, Sasanian Style bust tutning right, name in Pahlavi in front of face. Reverse, soldier standing with helmet and lance/ spear phrase "Apushtan" in Pahlavi on the left, phrase to the right deteriorated. This is a so called "Apushtan" series which states "ever Strong Backing". Struck on a broad flan. Choice VF. Nice original find patina. Scarce to rare.
