SASANIAN KINGS, Bahram (Varhran) V, 420-438 AD. AR Drachm (4.12 gm; 30 mm). Standard issue, first series, reverse, mint : AW (Ahwaz) to the left of flame, phrase "Atash-e" (Fire of) on the right and name "Varhran" on the left, together meaning "Fire of Bahram", phrase "Raast" (Truthfullness)on the base of fire altar. Choice Superb. Lightly toned. Lustrous.
